About Me
This website is intended to help people understand a rare condition called the hemiplegic migraine; This condition occurs in adults and also children. Some symptoms are headaches, weakness on one side of body –which could be fatal and prompt an examination in an emergency room– and can result in lifelong disabilities. Managing this condition also requires a high level of expertise, much more than needed for the average migraine most are familiar with, given that it is a rare genetic condition.
I would like to increase awareness of this condition, particularly amongst the youth and their families. The efforts I am making are not only to help the friends around me but also others who suffer similar conditions. I would like to throw it out there that this condition is treatable.
